Dear all,
Just passing on a funny story about my youngest,Jayne. She is two almost three yo.
We have been unsuccessfully working on potty training and its no fault of hers, mom has been a bit inconsistant with it. She has taken to not liking her diaper changed and will go to great lengths to stop it from happening. I have also mentioned that we have quite a few four legged critters in our house, two of which are cats and one is a dog. Sometimes it can get hetic especially if the dog and cats fight. Jayne has been privy to many hissy fits by the cats.
Well I went to change her diaper the other day and she barracaided herself into a corner with the kitchen chairs. When I approached her she squinted up her eyes and clawed her fingers and proceeded to hiss and cat spit at me. Needless to say I chuckled at her (which produced more hissing and spitting). I am convinced she really thought she was a cat and that this would be effective for getting rid of me because she has seen it work on the dog a number of times.
It didn't work on me and I actually hesitated to burst her bubble that she was a big tough kitty that could fight the awful mommy beast.
A chuckle from my house to yours:bye:

We always start our school day with a time of committing our day to the Lord and praying for needs in our lives. I have been talking to them about praying for others instead of just our needs. Ones going to Iraq and the war have been a top priority in their prayers the last couple of weeks. Some of the things that they have prayed are: that angels be around the people over there, that they have a good visit on their trip to Iraq, that we win George Bush's war, and that everyone is kept safe except the ones we are shooting at. You really have to hear a 6 and 7 year old praying these things with authority to get the real humor of it but I believe God hears and knows their hearts.
Be blessed
Sandy
