Dear all,
Just passing on a funny story about my youngest,Jayne. She is two almost three yo.
We have been unsuccessfully working on potty training and its no fault of hers, mom has been a bit inconsistant with it. She has taken to not liking her diaper changed and will go to great lengths to stop it from happening. I have also mentioned that we have quite a few four legged critters in our house, two of which are cats and one is a dog. Sometimes it can get hetic especially if the dog and cats fight. Jayne has been privy to many hissy fits by the cats.
Well I went to change her diaper the other day and she barracaided herself into a corner with the kitchen chairs. When I approached her she squinted up her eyes and clawed her fingers and proceeded to hiss and cat spit at me. Needless to say I chuckled at her (which produced more hissing and spitting). I am convinced she really thought she was a cat and that this would be effective for getting rid of me because she has seen it work on the dog a number of times.
It didn't work on me and I actually hesitated to burst her bubble that she was a big tough kitty that could fight the awful mommy beast.
A chuckle from my house to yours:bye:
