I like that you start kids at a young age with inspirational motivation. As they get older, they somehow become more of a handful than ever before. I also like allowing them to slowly become more responsible for their own things as a means for their personal independence and organizational attitudes.

treating head lice

So you can see that a total infestation of head lice can take place in very short order. The individual louse’s lifespan is not long (about thirty days), but as you can see it doesn’t have to be in order to cause problems for the human host.

Thank you for ideas> I loved them except
I do not think motivation charts and rewards are Montessorian. As they you teach them how to be organized and they achieve that the reward will come from inside.

Lovin' mama, what a brilliant idea! My daughter is always making things, especially on the days she goes to the childminder, and whilst I can understand that its a great time filler for the childminder, I despair at the great cardboard edifices she brings home. If I ask her if she thinks its worth taking a picture of it, it allows her to decide on how much she values it, and it does keep a record of it for as long as we need it. She also loves writing stories, although they don't usually get past a page, so I think I need a ringbinder with plastic folders in to keep these in. Then she can cover it in the reams of stickers she got for Christmas!

Thanks for this article. My daughter was recently complaining that her daughter ( my priceless grandaughter) is not good at cleaning up after herself, then you sent this article which I will share with her. We all need these common sense reminders to help. Thanks so much!

I had a hard time "destroying" my children's lego creations -- until a girlfriend offered this great idea: let them take a picture of it!

We've done this for other "big" things as well, such as nice posters, snowmen, etc.

My children love to look through their portfolios and get ideas for new projects, too!

This is something that I have incorporated into the child care at our agency - Island Grove Regional Treatment Center (drug, alochol, and domestic violence rehab center. I love looking at your website and gleaning the things that I can use. I also send many things to my great neice who is a first time mother with two (2)inherited teenagers.
Thank you for all the research
